SERP API cost calculator

Published Google search API prices, checked 2026-10-19. Compare eight providers using their stated billing units.

USD before tax. Rates below divide plan price by its full search allowance; your cost per used search can be higher. Entry and volume mean the first paid tier and lowest unit rate among captured tiers, respectively. This is a price comparison, not a reliability ranking.

Estimate a month

ProviderMonthly cost / pack purchaseSelected tier

Chooses the cheapest single captured tier that fits. Monthly subscriptions charge the whole plan; Serper charges a whole prepaid pack. Pay-as-you-go shows consumed usage; DataForSEO still requires a $50 deposit. Recurring free plans are used alone when sufficient; one-time trials are excluded. Bright Data paid estimates do not combine free credits. Unknown overages, repeated renewals, pack combinations and custom quotes are excluded. Features, result depth, speed and quotas differ. No estimate guarantees throughput.

SerpApi: assumptions and tiers

Monthly plans. Larger published plans appeared in search indexing but were absent from the fetched page; beyond captured tiers requires a quote.

DataForSEO: assumptions and tiers

Google Organic: 10 results/page. Standard queue is cheapest (~5 min average; 45 min target). Priority $1.20/1k; Live $2/1k. Operators and deeper results cost extra. Usage estimate excludes $50 minimum top-up; balance never expires. Billing source.

Bright Data SERP: assumptions and tiers

Paid estimates do not subtract free allowance: whether it combines with paid plans is unverified. Scale includes 380k, then $1.30/1k. Only the visible Scale tier is captured.

ScraperAPI: assumptions and tiers

Google endpoint: 25 credits/search, without optional extras. Monthly billing; promotional bonus credits excluded. Published overage rates not captured; above plan limits needs a quote. Billing source.

Scrapingdog: assumptions and tiers

Google SERP Light: 5 credits/search; Advance costs 10. Free allowance conflicts on the pricing page; excluded from calculator. Monthly plans.

Serper.dev: assumptions and tiers

Prepaid packs expire after 6 months. Calculator chooses one cheapest pack that covers the month, not amortized usage or a combination of packs; trial excluded.

SearchAPI.io: assumptions and tiers

Standard speed, monthly plans. Rates computed from allowance rather than rounded advertised rates. Captured tiers through 1M; larger volumes require checking provider.

Zenserp: assumptions and tiers

Current homepage monthly plans; older blog posts show different allowances. Above 1M requires quote.
